Andy Serfoss was aggravated because we do not currently install rain gutters. Note: Coastal Aire & Sheet Metal was the very 1st seamless rain gutter installer, here in the Carson Valley.  Since then three additional rain gutter installers began this type of service,  all three are former employees. We are primarily a HVAC contractor. We had put the rain guttering on temporary hold due to extreme weather conditions. Realize, our telephone book add is published long in advance. This prospective customer was out-of-sorts, due to what I have just explained. Furthermore, we have been in business 29 years. Andy doesn't have enough since to understand.  Frankly, I am relieved we did not do this job.

The technician checked the furnace in the attic and thought the issue was the controller box and ordered a new one. He returned that day to install it, but found the same problem. He removed the new controller and reinstalled the original, (saving us the cost of the new controller). He was able to identify the issue with a heat sensor that had corroded with age and was not switching. The Coastal Aire service tech kept us informed what was going on the whole time and finished the job in a timely manner.
